Creebridge House Hotel's location allows for a number of leisure-time pursuits, from golf at the local course some 400 yards away, fishing on the Bladnoch, Minnoch and Cree rivers, walking, mountain biking or Cycling in and around the Galloway Hills, pony trekking, clay pigeon shooting, bird watching or simply setting up a paint board to capture the unique Scottish hills in and around Newton Stewart.

We are just over an hour's drive from Ayr's famous racecourse and regularly arrange special weekends to correspond with major race meetings. Please contact us ASAP for further information.

The Hotel has a Scottish Tourist Board Three star rating, 3 AA stars and one AA Rosette for food. The hotel is fully centrally heated with roaring log fires in all the public rooms in winter and plenty of hot water on tap.

Fishing Trips

Productive in both Spring and Autumn featuring some superb wild brown trout fishing between May and August. The Hotel has recently acquired beats 4, 5, and 6, which is comprised of 4 miles of single bank fishing from Spittal Bridge.  Read more ...

Mountain Biking & Cycling Runs

We are ideally situated for all you cyclists out there. The 'SEVEN STANES' cycle route starts just along the road from the hotel allowing you to explore Kirroughtree Forest and you can venture further into the Galloway Forest Park.
